RULES:

1) Drawbar not to be higher than 10 inches.
2) Distance of pull: 10 feet.
3) Boundary width to be regulation.
4) Front end must touch every 5 feet.
5) Tractors must be stock in appearance.

COMPACT TRACTOR AND ANTIQUE (1959 and under) FARM TRACTOR

Compact Tractors: 2WD Wednesday, following Garden Tractors
Antique Tractors: 4500# and 5500# – Thursday 7:00PM
Antique Tractors: 6500# – Friday 7:00PM
Antique Tractors: 7500# and 8500# – Saturday 3:00PM

Rules Apply to both classes of Compact Tractors and all weights of Antique Tractors unless specified.

  1) Compact Tractors – 2000# maximum, 15 inch drawbar.

  2) Antique Tractors must be manufactured from 1959 and under.

  3) All tractors must be on rubber to be eligible. No catipillar tractors, homemade tractors, steel wheel or dual wheels may be used.
       No cut tires are allowed.

  4) No tire chains will be allowed.

  5) Distance of pull will be 20 feet at one hitching. Start to be made with a tight chain, no jerking start. Length of chain to be at least four feet minimum.

  6) Contestants will be given two trials to move any load the given distance. Driver must remain in seat while pull is being made.
       Contestants may choose either end of sled for second trial providing boundary permits.

  7) Only the driver shall be allowed on the tractor while trial is being make. Tractor must be under control at all times.
       No tractor may be operated by more than one person.

  8) Each Contestant must hitch to a mechanical secured drawbar in all directions.
       Height of point pulling draft may not be over 18 inches for Antique (1959 and under) tractors.

  9) Each entrant must furnish own clevis. Clevis must be a bolted clevis. Axle hitching will not be allowed.

10) Use of fluid in tires is permitted. All weights added must be regulation manufactured equipment or its equivalent wheel and frame weights,
       and properly secured. Weights may be removed after first pull for safety reasons under supervision of commitee member.

11) 8500# class – No tires larger than 18.4.

12) No guides or helpers while pull is being made.

13) Boundaries will be plainly marked and tractor must stay within these limits while trial is being made. Failure to do so will nullify the trial.

14) The committee shall have full power to decide any questions arising in connection with the contest subject to the rules and administration as provided.
       In any event not covered by the rules, the committee shall have full power to decide in a manner that is fairest to the majority.

15) Failure to comply promptly with the direction of the committee shall result in immediate disqualification of the contestant.

16) Only authorized persons, judges and linemen are allowed in the pulling area.

17) Weights are to be attached to the tractor where they will not be harmful or injurious to the hit. The hitcher may so declare and refuse to hitch.
       Modified models will not be allowed.

18) Plaques will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each class.
