Q. What is the date of the next Millersport Sweet Corn
Festival? Top

August 27th, 28th, 29th, & 30th. The festival is always the Wednesday through
Saturday before Labor Day.

Q. Where is the festival held? Top

At the Historic Lions Park in Millersport, Ohio, U.S.A., just 25 miles
east of Columbus, Ohio on the southwestern shore of Buckeye Lake. Located on State Route 204, four miles south of I-70, take the State Route 37 exit south to State Route 204.

Q. What are the hours of the festival? Top

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday
from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 PM

Q. What is the admission cost? Top

Admission is free, but there is a $10 per car charge if you park on the
festival grounds in our 85 acre parking lot. Larger vehicles such as buses, RVs, trailers, and large trucks may cost more to park

Q. When is the parade held? Top

Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. starting from Millersport High School and traveling
through Millersport to the festival grounds.

Q. When is the queens pageant? Top

Our Sweet Corn Sweetheart selection is Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on the Main
Stage.

Q. May my daughter enter into the queens pageant? Top
of page
The contestants are limited to approximately 18 young ladies. The festival
selects specific 18 area High Schools to participate in the parade and
the pageant. These High Schools then select one young lady from their student
body to represent their school in the parade and pageant.

Q. Do you have a baby or a Little Miss pageant? Top

No, we only have the Millersport Sweetcorn Queens Pageant. The queens pageant contestants are limited to approximately 18 young ladies. The festival
selects specific 18 area High Schools to participate in the parade and
the pageant. These High Schools then select one young lady from their student
body to represent their school in the parade and pageant.

Q. May I bring my pet to the festival to stay in the car, walk or to be carried around with me? Top of page
No. It is unsafe to mix pets and the amount of people that attend our
festival. The festival is too crowded to have animals safely with you. You
will not be allowed to leave them in your car. You will be asked to remove
your pet from our property (including the parking area) with the expectation
that you will take the animal home.

Q. Are my supporters or I allowed to campaign for my election to office at the festival? Top of page
No. The festival grounds are private property owned by the Sweet Corn
Festival, Inc. and campaigning is not allowed nor appreciated by our guests.

No. All concessions are non-profit charitable organizations with their
proceeds going toward their operation and community projects.

Q. Do you have a Midway? Top

Yes. Our ride midway is provided by Durant Enterprises, Inc. of Dupont,
Ohio.

Q. Will there be Country Music Stars singing at the festival this year? Top of page
Our Country Music Shows are on Friday and Saturday evenings. Check out the Entertainment Page to find

Q. How much are the tickets for the stage show? Top

All of the shows and entertainment at our four stages are free. We have
seating available at each stage, but you are welcomed to bring your own lawn
chairs if you wish.

Q. How does my company become a Corporate Sponsor with the Sweet Corn Festival? Top of page
Our current Corporate Sponsors are community minded organizations that
assist our festival financially in exchange for having their company's name
displayed and associated with our festival in a variety of ways. We are
selective of the type of companies that become our Corporate Sponsors. If your

Q. What do I need to do to become a paid performer at the festival? Top of page
We have a nine member Entertainment Committee that works year round
selection entertainment for our four stages. If you are interested in the
possibility of preforming at our festival, please feel free to send a VHS or
audio tape with letter describing your act with pricing and availability,
length of show and other items that you want our committee to know about you
to: Entertainment Committee / Sweet Corn Festival, Inc. / P.O. Box 337 /
Millersport, Ohio 43046-0337. Due to the amount of mail that this
committee receives, they will usually contact you only if they are interested
in contacting with you to do an appearance at our festival.

Q. If I want to participate in one of your contests, how do I enter? Top of page
In most cases you can sign up within minutes before the start of the event
with the exceptions of the following; the Sweet Corn Sweetheart
Contestants are selected by their High Schools and the Ken Keener Classic 5-K
Run can be both pre-festival registration and race day registration
(740-246-6101). There is an entry fee for the 5-K Run.
