Who: Millersport Lions Club’s annual fundraising project – Sweet Corn Festival
When: Sept. 1, 2, 3: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sept. 4: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Where: Historic Lions Park, Covered Bridge Area, Millersport, Ohio
Why: Provide a high traffic venue for craft persons to sell quality and unique merchandise.
Requirements:
• All items must be authentic items handmade by the exhibitor. No wholesale or commercial vendors conducting resale of merchandise accepted. No food sales permitted.
• All crafts are subject to approval. Photos of all items are required for new vendors. Photos will not be returned. Vendors are prohibited from selling festival logo souvenir items.
• Exhibitor must provide own tables, chairs and display boards.
• Exhibitor must secure and cover their merchandise at closing each night.
• Exhibitor must provide minimum 14/3-grounded electric cord 100 ft long. Festival Management will provide each exhibitor a 15-amp outlet.
• Exhibitor must provide own fire extinguisher and trash bags.
• Exhibitor is required to submit a Certificate of Insurance naming the Sweet Corn Festival, Inc. as an additional insured with minimum liability amounts of $1 million per occurrence.
• Exhibitor is responsible for obtaining a vendor license and paying sales taxes.
• Your space must be manned during all festival operating hours.
• All craft tents and displays must set-up on a grass surface.
• Trailers, trucks, RVs and vehicles must be parked in nearby parking lot. Each exhibitor will be provided with one complimentary parking pass.
• No mopeds, bikes, golf carts, or pets allowed on festival property.
• No generators, open flames, or loud speakers permitted.
• Exhibitors are encouraged to give public demonstrations of their artwork.
Set-up/Teardown:
• Set up will be Tues., noon – 10:00 PM. Teardown is after 11:00 PM on Sat. Tent, vehicles and merchandise must be removed before 8:00 AM.
Fees:
• Each exhibitor must pay a participation fee of $100.00 plus $25 for each additional day. This is in addition to the space rent.
• Use your own tent – 10 ft x 10 ft single = $100.00.
Use your own tent – 20 ft x 10 ft double = $190.00.
Use our commercial tent – 10 ft x 10 ft single = $225.00.
Use our commercial tent – 20 ft x 10 ft double = $390.00.
• Signed agreement and all fees must be paid by August 1, 2010.
• Only money orders or cashier checks accepted. No refunds. Event is RAIN or SHINE.
